Latest News: Hyundai India launched its smallest car Eon today at Gurgaon. Hyundai Eon launched in 6 variants with starting price of Rs 2.69 Lakhs to top variant of Rs. 3.71 Lakhs. Hyundai Dealers have already started to accept the booking of Hyundai Eon car starting October 1, 2011 with a booking amount of Rs. 20,000. Here’re the list of prices basis on the model:

Hyundai EON Eera : Rs. 3.11 lakhs

Hyundai India is going to unveil a new entry level car also referred as low-end this Diwali by the launch of Hyundai Eon. It has been hailed as the 21st century’s Maruti 800. This car is all set take on its competing cars in the market with its style, substance, space, performance and fuel efficiency.

During the festive season, car manufacturers and dealers offer many discounts and freebies to attract customers and Hyundai is strong-willed to cash-in on the occasion with launch of Hyundai Eon.

Hyundai Eon is an exceptional price-specific product. It is based on the platform of Hyundai Santro and it was codenamed as HA H800. Although more particulars of this small car are yet to be exposed but it is estimated that the base variant of Hyundai Eon would be priced around Rs 250,000. There are rumors that this car could be priced between Rs 3.2 lakhs to Rs 3.5 lakhs. Well, we need to wait for the official announcements. Till then read the sound features of Hyundai Eon.

Hyundai EON Features:

Having a look on its exteriors, the new small Hyundai Eon car is a tall boy model, while not sharing the similar magnitude as Hyundai Santro.
It’s new hatchback is shorter in length and is lighter, weighing just around 795 kg.
Sporting the Fluidic design, the car is bestowed with elegant looks in spite of the small price.
The Hyundai Eon carries the same hexagonal grille like in any other Hyundai car along with the headlights with the chrome lining.
As per sources in the industry the Hyundai Eon interiors are also well designed and are on the same line as Hyundai i10.
There is a CD player, USB port, remote central locking and tilt steering.
Just like Hyundai Santro, the Hyundai Eon also offers good boot space of around 215 L, but this in turn gives lesser leg room for the rear seat occupants.
The car offers a higher ground clearance to meet the Indian driving conditions.
The Hyundai Eon engine is the Santro IRDE 814 cc engine with 56 Bhp peak power output.
With the efficient engine, Hyundai Eon is expected to be an excellent car especially to suit the urban requirements of a small car.
The car is said to be exceptionally good in handling especially on curvy roads, it can be attributed to its small size.
The small car boasts an excellent mileage of 21.1 kmpl.

The company has managed the support of publishers like Penguin, Roli, Oxford University, Harper Collins and Permanent Black. EC Media has landed Croma as a retail partner and Redington as its primary distribution partner.

A product of CNK Promotions, this unique pendrive is certainly something I would like to pocket. I swear it would not surprise me in the least to see a news bulletin somewhere where a guy decided to try to suck the beer out of his USB drive. It’d likely start with one guy either daring or offering up some small fund to do it like a dollar. It really wouldn’t take much for someone to do it. Well luckily there are no links to actually purchase this USB drive instead it is just an example of all the cool things a certain company can do with USB drives.

The company can not only fill your USB drive with liquid but add little objects to the mix. Like a car for a racing company. Basically those cheesy pens that the top of them was filled with liquid have now been replaced with these USB drives. Well I suppose it had to happen eventually. Corsair has launched a gadget that claims to be the world’s fastest USB flashdrive. The Flash Voyager GT as it is called is a 128GB high capacity USB flash drive. Flash Voyager GT can read at the top speed of 32Mbps and has the writing speed of upto 25.6Mbps which is almost the speed limit of the USB 2.0 bus. Even with the high data holding capacity the flash drive is 75% smaller than regular flashdrives of less than half the capacity.

The 128GB Voyager GT is nearly twice as fast as other high-capacity flash drives which means less time waiting for your music, video, or office files to copy to and from the drive. The other flashdrives of 128GB capacity available in the market are Kingston’s DataTraveler and DiscGo. The Flash Voyager GT costs Approx Rs 2000. That’s Too much?

SatNav Technologies has announced the launch of a new gadget GPS enabled device the SatGuide PND Moov 300. The new personal navigation device (PND) is designed to provide hassle free road navigation with cutting edge features like voice prompted directions and a 4.3-inch touch-screen (480 x 272 pixels) for better user interface to its consumers. It doesn’t just come loaded with SatGuide maps but includes features like a calculator and digital entertainment features such as an audio player and video player which makes it as much a PMP as a GPS device.

The comprehensive SatGuide Maps include detailed road maps of 200+ cities and more than 15 Lakh destinations (points of interest) for customers to choose from. The maps are constantly enhanced and on the anvil are plans to grow this to 500 cities, 30 Lakh destinations, and ultimately the 6 Lakh villages across the country. Moov 300 comes with the latest WinCE 5.0 version and sports a 64 MB Flash with 512 MB RAM and supports external memory via SD/MMC cards. In an age where everything is on the Net, someone could easily obtain our information with nothing more than a few passwords and numbers. The SmartSwipe was invented to insure that our credit card numbers would be safe. The SmartSwipe is a credit card reader that plugs right into the USB drive, and makes you look like a retail cashier. However, it is designed for those who shop online and will encrypt the credit card data before transmitting it to the computer. This is different than most online security programs, that only protect information on the way to the Internet.

Just 2 days before Gateway announced the 15.6-inch NV series to their lineup of Laptops. The NV Series features a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with a 1366 x 768 widescreen resolution. The laptops in the series will be powered by a 320GB Hard Drive and up to 4GB DDR2 of RAM. When it comes to the processor it all depends on the money you are willing to pay, if you are willing to pay $499 then your notebook will rock a 2.1 GHz AMD Athlon 64 with Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, if you are will to go higher to $599, then you get a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with GMS 4500MHD. The NV Series comes with specs such as four USB 2.0 ports, multi-card reader, 6-cell battery and WiFi connectivity.
